Full configuration reference

Here is every setting you can change, grouped by topic. If you want step-by-step help with something, start from the page for that topic; this is the reference for checking the detail.

Note

The Mac app and the web account are still partly in Spanish. This guide names settings in English; if you see the Spanish original, it's the same setting.

How settings apply

There are three layers, from the most specific to the most general:

  1. Device setting. Lives on that Mac or iPhone and doesn't travel: shortcuts, audio, screen, terminal.
  2. Account setting. Stored in your account and valid on all your devices: the assistant's name, inference parameters, reminders, memory.
  3. Default value. If you haven't touched anything, the "Default" column applies.

On the Mac, Settings opens with ⌘, or from the menu-bar icon. On the iPhone, from More → Settings. The Voice & Audio and Shortcuts panels in the main window are the same controls as in Settings.
