The app downloads freely, but using it requires an approved invitation.

Point at whatever you like —a menu, a fault, a whiteboard— and it explains it on the spot, out loud, as if it had it in front of it. It's what only an iPhone has and a desktop can't give you. The camera and screen reading are Pro.

Carries on with the screen off
The conversation continues even if you switch apps or lock the phone. On the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island you get buttons to mute, resume and end without unlocking.
Saelyx keyboard
You dictate in Saelyx with Whisper Mode and the clean text appears in any app: press the globe 🌐 until you reach the Saelyx keyboard and tap “Insert”. That step exists because iOS doesn't let one app type into another.
Siri, Shortcuts and a widget
Start dictating with Siri, with Shortcuts, with the Action button, from Control Center (iOS 18) or with the Quick dictation widget.
Silent in meetings
It listens to the meeting through the iPhone's microphone, suggests inside the app itself and, when it's over, hands you the minutes. It's Pro.
Apple Watch
Talk to Saelyx from your wrist: the same agent and the same voice as on the iPhone. It needs your iPhone within reach; screen reading and the camera aren't used from the watch.
Continuity with your Mac
You start on the Mac and carry on on the iPhone without losing the thread—or the memory.
There's no mail, Teams, Office or terminal on the iPhone and iPad: those are Mac-only. What reads the screen and camera is processed at the moment and isn't kept to train models; the exact scope is in the privacy policy. The full list is on All features.
